Getting closer.

IM Pei's wall detail really works well here with the Rothkos.

Muebles pintados a mano inspirados en los grandes artistas de la historia del arte.

The design almost reminded me of some Newman paintings, with a hint of Rothko. Well, maybe...

Small project I did for english. The "Penguin Classics" font is a little big, but that's ok.

After a brief meditation at Rothko Chapel, Rory was patient enough to let me snap a few pictures of him and the nearby fountain.

A lovely treat, the Museum of Contemporary Art is free for active jurors, and only a short walk from the courthouse.

Now I'm done with daffodils.

Really makes me feel zen to look at these colors...

After a meeting for my camera club, I took a walk around the yacht club at Lyme Regis, Dorset.

Found myself revisiting my 'Rothko Period' ( my favourite artist ). Strange.

On the early morning flight, the sky looked like a Mark Rothko composition.

 

Note: little or no color correction was done to this image - I had a grey card to calibrate everything to on and off the computer.

 

It was just a lucky fluke.
