A rosary made out of a DNA double-helix. The "base-pair" bars connecting the twisting sugar-phosphate backbone are supposed to look like little Roman collars.

 

This one's a little more weird and abstract in meaning than the other concepts. It's supposed to suggest the "bloodlines" of the Catholic church and allude to the fact that its leaders (usually) don't marry, have kids, and pass on their genes. It also suggests that there might be genetic factors that would lead someone to enter the priesthood.

  

I crocheted this rosary with black nylon crochet thread. It has glass beads that are brown, gold and bronze. Please see my profile for the link to my Etsy site where this is for sale.

Before making the rosaries, I took the crucifixes to Things Remembered and had our monogram and the wedding date engraved on the back. Not cheap, let me tell you...
