This is one of the first pictures I ever took, Rosary Beads hung from the rear view mirror of my mams car.
These enormous rosaries were for sale at stands all over the place. They remind me of nothing more than the strings of Buddhist beads I saw all over China...
This is a rosary that is hanging from a piece of steel salvaged from the 9-11 site in NY. The steel is part of a permanent memorial in Eastlake, OH at the Boulevard of 500 flags. The cross was hanging backwards, but I dared not touch it. I hope we never forget, but more importantly I hope we have learned something.
