Had a group at The Lost Gardens of Heligan today and my tradition is to do the Burma Rope Bridge in the Jungle.

Luz muy dura y difícil de domar ayer en el Xarco, pero este cabo nos alegró la tarde y me ayudó a alejarme de la orilla y de tanto pedrolo.

From what I am told the ropes around the Titanic area are to signify the connection with the Belfast Ropeworks which was once the biggest in the world. The Belfast Ropework Co was established in 1876 and the managing director was William Holmes Smiles. G W Wolff, of the Belfast shipbuilding firm Harland & Wolff, was the chairman.

Something so appealing about rope fences in a nautical setting. I've shot this fence before, in the fall, from farther behind my perspective here. Snow just adds another element, as it were. I tried to make this as drab as possible in PP, but, it was a beautiful, sometimes sunny day at the beach.
