Another room inside the Dervish monastery in Blagaj, with view on the rock :)

Blagaj is a village in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Blagaj is situated at the spring of the Buna river (one of the strongest springs in Europe with extremely cold water). The Blagaj Tekija (Dervish monastery) was built around 1520, with elements of Ottoman architecture and Mediterranean style and is considered a national monument. It is located right next to the natural cavern and one of the largest karst hill in Europe. The building has 3 floors and its windows overlook directly the lake and the horseshoe-shaped waterfall. The complex of the tekke includes: tombs (of Sari-Saltuk and Acik-pasha sheikh), rooms for prayers, musafirhane (guest room), the kitchen, hamam (bathroom), courtyard and abdesthane (washroom).

Jeszcze jeden pokój w klasztorze derwiszów w Blagaj, z widokiem na skałę :)

Blagaj – wieś w Bośni i Hercegowinie, położona nad rzeką Buną. Pierwsze wzmianki o Blagaju pochodzą z X wieku.

Spider used to be in the list of the last few that I favor to shoot. Not so sure I can hold my camera still when I was taking this, most of the time I find them disgusting...but after some colour correction and cropping, I just couldn't resist the 'laser-eye" and post it here.

Florence, AZ, established 1866, has started a restoration process to become an artesian community and spring back to life. Old buildings are being renovated and new ones are built with old West architecture. There is a long way to go though as this building sits just one block off Main Street, which is the center of town.

Columbia & Reading Railway's Alco S2 number 226 comes to a halt by their trackmobile which will be moved out of the siding shortly to make room for more storage cars. CORY is currently receiving 120 propane cars for storage on their line in Columbia, PA. Five cars at a time are received each morning from NS as their interchange can only hold that amount, meaning they will be operating daily until all 120 are on the property.

For many years this hotel was known as The Terminus. And its history goes right back into the second half of the 19th century when it was a principal watering hole for the nearby wharves. It also boasted the best billiards room in Launceston at the time when Walter Lindrum (1898-1960) was dominating the game.
