19th Century original Suffolk Farm Cottage. Original, as in no water or bathroom in the entire house. The only nod to modernity is limited installation of electricity. These homes were inhabited until 2002.

"If music be the food of love, play on" Twelfth Night William Shakespeare. I dedicate this photo to my English Literature teacher at St.Pauls in Karachi, Sir Edward Joseph L'steve. A man so in love with the English language that even as I was a 14 year old I felt his passion for the language and English literature. It was with dramatic flair he would read to us 30 or so Pakistani boys in Class X the works of Shakespeare or George Orwell. If it is that I can to this day recall some of the lines of Julius Caesar its because of Sir Edward. Sir Edward died a number of years ago in Karachi. He was a funny, brilliant, kind and gentle man in addition to being our Eng Lit teacher. We were very lucky to have someone of his calibre to teach us. Sir Edward's other passion was music. I hope he would like this shot.

The museum is located in an old brewery. This room with the red light and neons felt rally quite intensive.

A surreal day, kingfishers followed by a nice lady letting lots of people into her living room to take pictures of a hoopoe in her back garden. Through glass, but she had impressively clean windows. A very nice lady.
Another Zeche Waschkaue room. This one was the clean room.

Over the past year I've taken numerous shots around the house as we've sheltered in place. Here's our dining room which to me looks like a place you'd see monks sitting around eating their morning bread. That's our Steinway upright sitting against the far wall and in front of it on the floor, is one of Kenzie the pup's bones. I think the bone adds a realistic perspective to the image, and you definitely won't see any monks chewing on it.
