Romã, a Fruta do Amor e da Saúde.

A romã não é apenas elegante, brilhante, doce e bela, a romã é um potente antioxidante; promove a saúde do coração. É um presente à Terra que nos deu Persephone, filha de Demeter, deusa de fruta e fertilidade. É um paradisíaco elixir de mágicos poderes. Foi uma das promessas de Moisés, quando conduzia seu povo à Terra Prometida (Exodus 39:25).
Os gregos antigos faziam oferendas à deusa Afrodite, a deusa do amor, com romãs, porque eles acreditavam que a romã era a fruta que alimentava o amor. Outros consideram a romã a fruta da sorte e comem romãs na passagem de ano e guardam algumas sementes para ter sorte o ano inteiro. Além de sorte e amor, a romã é a fruta da saúde, tantos são seus efeitos benéficos.
Seus princípios ativos são: manita, ácido gálico, pelieterina, isopelieterina, grenadina, puricina e tanino. A romã é rica em vitamina A, que ajuda a manter a pele bonita e saudável e ajuda a visão. Também é rica em vitaminas do complexo B (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6), que auxiliam a circulação, aumentam a resistência às infecções, facilitam a eliminação de líquidos, previnem o estresse. Contém também pequenas frações de ferro e cálcio.

A few gentlemen enjoy the finest of cigars at the headquarters of RoMa Craft Tobac. Cigar manufactures of Intemperance, CroMagnon, Neanderthal, CRAFT and Wunder|Lust brand cigars. Cool thing about this photo is this man was visiting from Wisconsin with the big Texas flag in the background.
