along the Roman Steps.
Which aren't even Roman.
They're actually part of a medieval packhorse trail leading from Chester to Harlech Castle.
One of the many longhorns we saw this trip to the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge.

Palouse, Washington
I have been posting quite a few images from my trip from the Palouse over the last couple of weeks. It is time that I start posting other images from other trips. I'll close out my Palouse trip (at least for now) with this photo from Clear Creek Road in the late evening light.
A little kangaroo that we spotted in a park as we were walking down to the beach that has the whitest sand in Australia.
My need is running low
I’ve been moving everywhere
Spreading out my wings – Trying everything
Like a Roamer.
ROAMING in thought over the Universe, I saw the
little that is Good
steadily hastening towards immortality,
And the vast all that is call'd Evil I saw
hastening to merge itself
and become lost and dead.
another foggy night in weimar, thanks to my friend helge who stays with me for a week we had a funny night. would have been quite a boring night otherwise.
The one day of our fishing trip was forecast for rain which made the rivers muddy - so we used the time to recon other rivers and lakes.
Having not fished Yellowstone in several years we went back to scope out several rivers including the Lamar and this is Lamar Valley where many bison roam.
Taking a break from studies and driving out into the wilderness with good company.

Once they roamed freely all over North America but excessive hunting and loss of habitat left them critically endangered with a mere 2 dozen left in Yellow stone at one point. Photographed in Yellow Stones Lamar Valley area a male is keeping his girl close to him.

Will you allow me to wax nostalgic for a moment? This is Melissa, my beloved motorcycle. She is 15 years old this year (2019) and has 113,356 miles on her. I bought her brand new with zero miles, so we've had quite the adventures together. We have roamed, literally, all over Florida and much of Georgia. Roadtrips, daytrips, overnight stays...mostly just joy riding: riding for the love of the road and the pleasure of the sensation of speed experienced on two wheels.
We've also ridden into some paranormal adventures together, but that's a whole other story (actually, a book).
She's never let me down, she'll still shine up like a new dime, and she runs like a scalded-ass ape...she runs better than the day she was brand new!
99% of our miles are highway miles, but she gets around town great as well.
There are many wonderful memories I enjoy because of this bike, and I'm looking forward to many more wonderful miles as we continue to roam together.

They are freely roaming around the park. The females sometime eat from the hands of the security person and his family. But not the bucks. He is a magnificent animal. When he was relaxing with his family( wife and a kid) I saw him. I used his initial shock to take some pictures of him and his family.
Added info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chital
The Chital or Cheetal (Axis axis) also known as spotted deer or axis deer of India has a beautiful golden brown coat, which is covered with big white spots. On an average, a male deer (known as stag) grows to a shoulder height of somewhere between 85cm and 90cm. The weight of a stag averages around 80 kg. Does are shorter as well as lighter. The coat of an adult deer has brighter spots as compared to that of fawns. At the same time, the white throat patch of a stag is more prominent than that of a doe.
The antlers of the axis deer of India branch to six points and sweep back into an upward curve. They shed their antlers on an annual basis. Mostly, the antlers of Indian chital deer grow to a length of 20 inches. Only some deer have antlers that reach 30 inches. An Indian spotted deer, whose anglers were 41 inches long, still holds the record for having the longest antlers in the world.

Hey all! Sorry I have been quiet on here lately. I just recently moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado so I will have more content and inspiration than ever before! The other night I went roaming around The Great Sand Dunes and felt as if I was "the martian" left all alone on the planet mars.
