NSU powstało w XIX w. jako producent maszyn tkackich, później rowerów i motocykli. Pierwszy samochód został wyprodukowany w 1905 r. W 1969. NSU zostało przejęte przez Volkswagena i połączone z Auto Union, tworząc dzisiejsze Audi.

NSU RO 80 produkowano w latach 1967-77 (egzemplarz muzealny pochodzi z 1971 r.). Samochód wyposażony był w 115-konny silnik Wankla. Auto było bardzo awaryjne, co przyczyniło się do problemów marki NSU i ostatecznie jej zniknięcia z rynku.

NSU was established in the 19th century and manufactured knitting machines, lated bicycles and motorbikes. The first automobile was built in 1905. In 1969 the company was acquired by Volkswagen and merged with Auto Union, what created the modern day Audi company.

NSU RO 80 was manufactured in 1967-1977 (exhibited automobile dates back from 1971). The car was equipped with a 115-HP Wankel engine. The automobile was very unreliable what caused NSU problems and finally disappearance of the brand from the market.

The Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex is a complex of interstellar clouds with different nebulae, particularly dark nebulae which is centered 1° south of the star ρ Ophiuchi, which it among others extends to, of the constellation Ophiuchus. At an estimated distance of about 140 parsecs, or 460 light years, it is one of the closest star-forming regions to the Solar System.
