Im Banat in Südwestrumänien gibt (gab?) es ein engmaschiges Eisenbahnnetz von kleinen Nebenbahnen.
Lovrin ist ein Kreuzungspunkt von Strecken. Hier an der Ostausfahrt zweigt die Strecke nach Timisoara von jener nach Jimbolia ab.
Die Ferkeltaxen, in Rumänien die Baureihe 74 der CFR, fahren als Regionalzug nach Timisoara Nord.
A Ro-Ro was at port all day. The dock workers had their hands full parking all those cars.

The industrial narrow gauge railway Moroeni - Fieni links a transloading facilty of a mine with a big cement plant. The trains are hauled by L45H. L45H 033 has arrived at the cement plant of Fieni under dramatic skies.
The section Sighet - Valea Viseului along the Ukrainean border uses a four-rail track that enables standard gauge trains as well as broad gauge trains to use the line. Interestingly most semaphores are "doubled", one for broad gauge and one for standard gauge. Only the standard gauge rails see a few trains daily. Here, 60 1313 has left Valea Viseului with the evening train to Sighet.

Dealu Mare is a small vilage in the lower segment of the Fieni industrial railroad. A loaded hay carriage soon will be picked up by a horse. Once a typicla scene almost everywhere in Romania but in 2021 almost gone. Still in service is L45H 033 the passes the scene.
EN: More than three hours takes one journey on the secondary line from Leţcani to Dorohoi. Whilst the line mainly follows Jijia valley, there is one little mountain pass to cross on the southern section of the line. A former french Caravelle in duty of Regiotrans as R 14817 will reach the Movileni pass tunnel between goldly shining corn fields soon.
DE: Länger als drei Stunden dauert eine Fahrt auf der Nebenbahn von Leţcani nach Dorohoi. Während die Strecke hauptsächlich dem weiten Jijia Tal folgt, gibt es auf dem Südabschnitt einen kleinen Bergpass zu queren. Eine ehemals französische Caravelle im Dienste des EVU Regiotrans als R 14817 hat den kleinen Movileni Passtunnel in Kürze erreicht, als sie zwischen goldenen Maisfeldern ein kleines Bahnwärterhaus passiert.
