A couple of the Wrangell Range peaks rising majestically above Willow Lake.
Mt Drum (12,010 ft; 3,660 m) and Mt. Sanford (16,237 ft; 4,949 m) are both volcanoes, fortunately slumbering at this time. First time I drove thru here I could barely see the lake, with the heavy rains. Didn't know what I was missing. Sure glad I had a chance to see them on my return.
Happy Friday!

I took this shot using some indoor flowers in a vase. I lit the petals from behind using a lamp. The closer I looked at the finer details, they seemed to almost resemble a little crowd of people waving spears and forks! My vivid imagination working overtime again!
last rising 2015...as time goes by, no matter what the future bring, stay healthy & happy shooting in 2016 ♥ :-S.

This is a side stream off the Snake River which loops back into the Snake River. The Snake lies between the row of trees and the Teton peaks in the distance.
My brother's and I flyfish along the Snake River in this area. If you think they look majestic from here - you should see them after the mile plus hike in!
The rocky area across this stream has a small beaver dam on it. A series of beaver dams keeps the flow steady and low.
Happy Macro Monday!
My go-to location for when high tide and sunset occur around the same time, but I had to make it quick! If I had stayed any longer where I was set-up, I would have had the sea over the tops of my wellies to get back to the shore.
Lune montante
IN EXPLORE - November 15, 2021
Souvenir de ce mois d'août à Soller (Espagne): la lune surgit de derrière la montagne et illumine le ciel en ce début de nuit. Cette photo a été prise deux jours avant la pleine lune du 22 août.
Remember of this month of August in Soller (Spain): the moon rises from behind the mountain and lights up the sky at the start of the night. This photo was taken two days before the full moon on August 22.

A gently incoming tide just creeping up Achnahaird beach on our last evening, with a low sun lighting upthe cloud on the ridges. As usual, no one else was about, it was all quite magical. Rising sea by the Strange Death of Liberal England is appropriate in many ways!!
"Still I Rise"
Each struggle is unique to you, but you are not alone.
We all deserve to be loved the right way, and for all the right reasons.
“Instead of saying, "I'm damaged, I'm broken, I have trust issues" say "I'm healing, I'm rediscovering myself, I'm starting over.”

Captured another waning gibbous moon. She rose really fast, by the time I put the camera on the tripod, she already moved way above the rooftop.
This is a blend of two exposures, the moon was captured at f/16, 2 sec, ISO 100.
Last month's waning gibbous moon can be seen here.

The Waning Gibbous on January 22 has an illumination of 81% and was 19.03 days old since the last New Moon.
