This is the mountain I came to Nepal to climb... sadly it wasn’t to be. Anyway, I had one night of clear skies and it happened to be in a place I could see the mountain. I am sad my chance to climb it is lost, but one has to be sensible when at altitude...

Anyway, this is just a quick edit done on my iPad. I will have a further play when I get home at producing a small star trail with the shots I got. I only had my small Canon G1X with me... how I wish I’d had my Nikon SLR!

At least they got these units primed. The GP40-2 facing the camera could be the former 373.

Rock Island Jordan spreader 95314 clearing snow through Reinbeck, IA, in the Winter of 1969. The B&M boxcar spotted at the Pioneer seed plant was unusual. It was usually all RI boxcars put in there. The F7A number is unknown.
