In areas where customers experienced outages due to flooding of our facilities, we will work to expedite restoration of power when the water recedes. We will be following the flood waters as they recede so we can assess actions for restoration of service to customer homes that sustained flooding. For updates, go to entergystormcenter.com

Completing this series of photo restorations, this is probably my favourite, featuring 4 brothers, with John (seated), then standing left to right are Owen, Frederick and Archibald holding the dog. Owen, my Great-Grandfather, was one of thirteen children.
I'm not sure of the occasion, or the exact date, but I would estimate this shot would have been taken in the years soon after 1900. The eldest brother, John, seems to be the centre of attention, looking very smart in his pin-stripe suit. Even his moustache looks very distinctive when compared with the others!
I've enjoyed looking back and working on these old images, but it's time I concentrated taking some new shots. I'll be visiting many photostreams today and tomorrow with lots of comments and faves :)
Wishing a happy weekend to all my flickr friends :):)
The bus was sanded down to the original coat of the livery into which it was to be restored. The starting point was its Oxford Full Circle Tours livery which it was carrying when the Society purchased the bus in 2005.

A record of the busy scene (minus the manpower!) during the restoration of the cab of my Leyland Cruiser 16.21 tow truck. The cab whilst being quite good for a 1981 model did have some rust in it in the usual T45 places. Inevitably the job "grew" as work progressed. The windscreen was broken after the cab was tilted and a hidden screwdriver dropped onto the screen! A blessing in disguise, as the hidden rust at the botton of the windscreen panel was revealed and was able to be repaired.
The job was completed in time (just) for the lorry to attend this year's Leyland Society event at the British Commercial Vehicle Museum in Leyland.

A great restoration firm can do an inspection and come up with the most effective cleanup plan for your house As a result of cleansing and restoration rely upon what sort of water damages your house and for how long the water have been there. If your water supply just isn't correctly covered and there are leaks in the pipes essentially the most attainable well being drawback that you're going to get is diarrhea because it should open your pipes to other sources of bacteria and it will likely be directly transferred to you when you by chance drink it. It could even weaken your well being such that it will make you vulnerable to other types of illness.

This is how they are re-erecting the Parthenon: one piece of stone at a time. (This piece could also be from some other temple; I couldn't say.) The stone on the bottom is a column drum; a bit of the original fluting remains at right, and the new portion will be fluted once the block is fitted into place. The stonecutters carve a new piece to replace the missing bits and attach it to the original stone. Mortar is visible here (they are using a soluble cement that can be reversed in the future if needed), and they are also using titanium rods. Traditional pins would have been of iron encased in lead. The lead keeps them from corroding, expanding, and splitting the stone (as they found after some unfortunate 19th century restoration efforts that used iron alone).
Not sure what the round pieces on top with the tabs are -- if anyone knows, please comment.
Replaced every button, cleaned all the bug yuck out from the inside, replaced the keyboard, cleaned every slider, cleaned every slider and button/knob cap, and cleaned and degreased the top panel.

Imagine the image of your grainy or grand pa which you've got in very damaged condition... don't you like that picture? It is binding on both events with few exceptions (WORD: an exception does exist in sure states like Oklahoma, the place the award is only binding on the submitting celebration; an exception may exist if the policy language permits the insurance firm the right to reject the claim even after Appraisal).
