This is the result from reducing the Red Kaleidoscope cane again. I love the way it turned out!!!! Now to make pendants.
A time exposure captures the raising of the gates at Willrett Road near Malta, IL, on the evening of 7-16-11. The extra red lights at the horizon are from a turbine windmill farm.

Red Kites are now very common near Aylesbury and I have hundreds of photos of them but this one I particularly like as he is looking straight at me. Good job I am not a mouse!
It was the annual Steam Rally at the Lincolnshire Showground, and I was helping to man the Lincolnshire Mills Group marquee. The sun shone fitfully through storm clouds, and the pleasant smell of the many exhibits was in the air. Suddenly there was a loud roar, I dashed out of the tent, and just in time saw the Red Arrows doing a fly past over the Showground.
Trithemis arteriosa
On recess on the rose plant in the garden one evening. A variety of dragonflies have been found on this same plant over a long period of time. Several defoliated branches at near the apex appear to be perfect perches for the dragonflies.
