After spending a whole day, running in school then coming back, and helping him to pack, and then going to the beach and clicking a whole load of pictures, then going shopping, my brother left for India. I know I know. It's been only two days, but he wanted to go. So yeah..
Haha :D But I can't say that It wasn't fun!
Now I'm home alone again :P
Hmm.. I've been thinking; I haven't taken anything really "Nikita-personified" lately, have I?!
It's only been landscapes, macro and portrait shots lately, yeah?
Urgh.. I need to go some place New! Somewhere where my imagination with take control of me again! I miss those shots :'( Haha :D
Anyways, enough of my ranting..
Happy Diwali guys!
Cheers! :)
This was a real quick capture. I was driving and I turned a corner and spotted this Red-tailed Hawk at eye level. Like most Red-tailed Hawks it did not like being eye-balled and fled.
This is a commission for a friend of mine who wants three pictures of Tulips with a strong colour way. This is the first one that she saw on my photo stream and liked . flic.kr/p/hdHdPj
I hope she will like them.

One of a few permanent residents, due to the nature of their injuries, this beautiful red-tailed hawk now calls Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve home. His left wing was injured by buckshot and following surgery is now shorter than his right.
Spectacular waves of sandstone illumination photographed from deep inside Antelope Canyon. Ever since I saw pictures of the canyon in Art Wolfe's book, I dreamed about exploring it. The rich colors and hues are completely natural. These are the result of how the camera records reflections of direct light and different color temperatures onto the already colorful sandstone. The best time or more popular time to photograph the canyon is in the summer from around 10 am to 2pm. However, the Navaho Indian tribe now allow you to visit the canyon only two hours per day.
Believe it or not, exposures are not really tricky in the slot canyon to digital cameras. I bracketed 4 exposures for the scene but ended up to use only two (RAW files) to edit. I manually blend the two exposures in PS and leave the dark parts as they are.
Thanks for looking and comments and critiques are always welcome! Best view LARGE!!!
