I know that many North American car enthousiast think that Germany is the walhalla of fast driving, but above you'll see reality. Baustelle after Baustelle with speed restrictions. On my way back to Holland from the Black Forest I had the pleasure of a 30 kilometer traffic jam, but okay, it was Friday rushhour. The picture above is taken between Bingen and Karlsruhe, en route to Baden-Baden. And who can say that the Peugeot 308 CC is a pretty car?

Tomorrow is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day! Yay. You know I'll be out there with one pinhole camera or another.... or several.
Anyway, a passing shot I made while wandering the Reed College campus a while back. I really love how the upper pinhole on the Reality So Subtle 6x6 can distort perspective just so. I daresay I like using this camera's upper pinhole more than I like using the centered pinhole.

I finally got around to both taking a shot and processing it in time for the Dailyshoot challenge
Todays assignment was "Make a photograph of the front of a building today. Could be your house, the bank, or city hall. "
Of course me being me I had to do a twist on it and got this shot of a part of a front of one of the buildings in the Tudor City part of Manhattan reflected in the mirror of a motorbike

i am standing in muddy waters in the middle of my street after yesterday's daytime downpour of our rainy season. most rainfalls happen during the night, so I could not show you how each north-south running street in Ajijic becomes a river running down from the mountains into the lake.
no, we are not flooded here, this is totally normal, it’s how our lake refills itself every year after the 9 month dry spell and why our curbs are so high in this village -
and it only takes like half an hour until one can cross these streets again...... unless you have rubber booties like me (((:
but yes, there were times when leaving a restaurant after some elegant evening dining, we had to step right into this muddy water.... with our elegant sandals and shoes, to walk home or get our cars! (((: (a true story!!)
