For Fotografar Palavras, @paulokellerman sent the very intriguing words by @katysavale .It was a good challenge for me, and I decided to use long exposure to create my vision. This is a single exposure, and I changed positions in the water during the exposure.

The main subject in this image is some kind of rusty, minor drainpipe, sticking out of a backstreet wall. I liked the rich, abstract-reality imagery produced by the rust-derived colors, the wall's stucco texture and the shadowed light.

A forest fire went through this area near Ya Ha Tinda west of Sundre, Alberta, giving it a stark look. It's place that I still find beautiful despite the devastating fire. This is a great area for dry camping and gathering fire wood.
I've not been able to pick up a camera these past 4 weeks. I've not even really wanted to edit other sessions. Nothing has connected with me. My daughter (3) sees her dad and I put on a mask when we go out, so of course she wanted to put one on too. The innocence of her and the reality of it all really struck me and I took a photo.
