La Virgen de El Panecillo, también conocida como Virgen de Quito por el nombre de la escultura en la que está inspirada, es un monumento de la ciudad de Quito en Ecuador.
Está ubicada sobre la cima de la colina de El Panecillo, una peculiar elevación con forma de un pan pequeño que se encuentra emplazada en pleno centro de la urbe y sirve de telón de fondo al Centro Histórico.
Con sus 41 metros de altura, si se suma la base, es la estatua más alta de Ecuador y una de las más altas de Sudamérica, superando incluso al famoso Cristo Redentor de la ciudad de Río de Janeiro. Es además la escultura de aluminio más alta del planeta.
I am all for getting people into the hobby, and seeing this many people in Durand, a place that used to have many dedicated visitors, is great. However, they were all on the wrong side of the light for a returning GLC unit potash train for HESR they got from CSX in Howell. For a short time, this GLC extra was known as CSX Z624-13, but, back on home rails in a few moments, it passes the depot on a wonderful late fall day.

After some chatting with Mobile 80, the Tramp Job heads for the Union Yard Runner (i.e. the old main) to tie up with some cars from the Commercial Yard.
NYSW WS-2 hustles eastbound across the Hackensack River in Bogota with SD45-2s 3634 and 3618 on March 23, 2025.
After a 4 hour round trip to Crawford's, Conway Scenic 252 and 255 put away their train into the yard in North Conway, NH. An old B&M Telephone reminds us we're in B&M territory on this part of the railroad, while the two GP38s are MEC vintage.
