C17 Nº 705 accelerates 361Dn after crossing Hampton Road on the outskirts of Esk in March 1969. At present Nº 705 is only hauling the previous evening’s passenger train consist however there is ample produce loading waiting to be attached at Lowood.

C17 Nº 802 rests in Toogoolawah yard on Saturday morning 2nd November 1968. Attached to the engine is the consist of the previous evening’s 370 Ipswich – Toogoolawah passenger train. Soon the engine will be lit up to work 361 goods back to Ipswich.

DEL1203 travelling on the newly opened Moura Short Line approaches the diamond crossing for the Dawson Valley Branch at Earlsfield on 26th January 1969. Work is still progressing in the area and the bondwood huts of the flying gang s camp can be seen in the distance.

PB15 N° 738 creeps across Splitters Creek Bridge on the Tirroan Branch in March 1970. The bridge was undergoing repairs at the time.
