Liquor/Convenience Store in San Francisco

Me with Ken Plume and Dana Snyder take 2.

This is Sheetz # 699 at 7419 Pole Green Rd, Mechanicsville, VA.

This store opened in 2021.

Portrait of my classmates, Colleen and Kellie, using a pinhole camera from an Ilford 300 sheet paper pack.

The way this photo looks reminds me of the scene from Clerks with Jay and Silent Bob outside of the Quick Stop.

The one place Dave did not want to miss on our tour was the Quick Stop, the convenience store in the Leonardo section of Middletown Township, NJ where Clerks was filmed. My friend Vincent was one of the rooftop hockey players and also worked on the film in post-production.

The video rental place next door -- also in the movie -- closed years ago, but sits just as it was, dusty VHS tapes on the shelves, like some kind of museum.

Britannia Beach by Howe Sound, British Columbia, Canada.

I assure you that they were open!

Here's their Yelp page. The staff is really pleasant but you can tell that they're quite over their lil claim to fame. The video store is actually still to the right and it is oddly FILLED with VHS tapes. Seems to have been abandoned long ago.

I poked in for a quick Gonzales. The ATM was not working. That's a shame, when they had a major festival going down the street and missing out on all this business.
