I finally got around to using an expired sample roll of Kodak Black & White C41 film. I like it. Taken with an Argus-Cosina 35 compact rangefinder.
This is a Fas Mart Express located in the parking lot of the Quarles Fleet Fueling Island at 2301 Commerce Center Dr, Rockville, VA.
This looks to be a glorified bank of vending machines installed in a modified shipping container. I've never see something like this done before, but it's certainly an interesting use of a shipping container.
Fas Mart is owned by GPM Investments, which is a subsidiary of ARKO Corp. who also owns Quarles.

Tarralik Duffy is a writer, multidisciplinary artist and designer from Salliq, Nunavut, whose work centres on contemporary Inuit culture and her experiences living in both the Arctic and in southern cities. Her practices incorporates drawing, photography, sculpture, textiles, printmaking, digital mediums, and salvaged materials — including beluga vertebrae, baleen, antler and sealskin.
Duffy draws upon pop culture as well as her cultural heritage, often playing with language to create playful tongue-in-cheek works. She won the Kenojuak Ashevak Memorial Award in 2021, and her work has been featured in two major solo shows: Let’s Go Quickstop at the Art Gallery of Ontario, and Gasoline Rainbows at the Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qaumajuq.
