It was our third game (chess) when he started trying to fix me up with his granddaughter.

I used just a little less than 50 g of yarn (wool and something

synthetic)and a 6 mm crochet hook, starting with

50 cc:

1st row: 1 dc in each cc

2nd and 3rd rows: 2 dc in each dc.

It was very quick, just a little more than half an hour, I think.

quick toasted oats with almonds & coconut. a big ol' plop of liberte citrus yogurt & fresh peaches from the okanagan. yum!

seriously, the peaches were fab.

a very small and quick butterfly !

Suddenly the jacket is off.... the pants rip off... and a blue jeaned bear belts out another tune!

Welsh supporter in Dragon hat enjoying a quick fag after a few pints in Cardiff's City Arms.

Took a quick trip to the Puget Sound area for work and fun. I don't know the meteorological term for this halo effect, but it's supposed to be a harbinger of impending precipitation. The 70 degree weather and predominantly blue sky would hot have presaged that, but sure enough, 24 hours later it was pouring. Luckily it held off long enough for me to get the freelance shots I needed.

Calling this a panorama is like calling the Senate and Congress honorable. This is a puny, two-photo panorama that doesn't even deserve the title.

A quick hour wander from viewpoint down to coast and back at the Harbour Nat Park with views to Manly, South and North Head and Sydney off to the right. Mostly 17mm Canon 5D2 and Fuji X100.

"Sydney Harbour National Park protects various islands and foreshore areas around one of the world's most famous harbours. It contains rare pockets of the bushland which was once common around Sydney, and in these remnants you'll find a surprising range of native animals living in the park.

But beyond the scenery, there's a lot of history, mystery and cultural heritage waiting to be discovered and explored. You'll find buildings constructed with convict labour; historic maritime and military installations; and the Quarantine Station which used to protect Sydneysiders from infectious diseases. You'll also find many Aboriginal sites - signposts of an ancient cultural heritage that still lives on, despite the devastating impact of colonisation."

I would have liked to get lower but my knees would have prob give way or the 20d would have been taking a bath. I only had the fifty on so I was freelensing in the rain to get close enough.

Taken at the bottom of our lane, I prob looked really weird to that person that drove past ;)

Nearly SOOC.

Just quick shots today.

Here's a quick upload of one of several falls that my wife and I visited on 4/18/09 in Eastern NY.

We had a wonderful time hiking with Kris (denkers_kris) and husband Kyle.

And Kris saved my life (or at least the day) when I *forgot* my camera.

Seeing as how it was a 5 1/2 hour drive going home for the camera was not an option. Kris, you're the BEST!!

More photos to come!

at once point during the show, i have to leave the lightboard, go down stairs, outside to the alley, to get quickly around to the backstage area. i then help with a scene change, and then get back to the board. as i stood backstage waiting for the scene to end, i snapped this real quick.
