On a wet showery day with
heavy downpours I returned to Castlerigg Stone Circle. This is the complete opposite of a Disney Attraction in that there are just stones no souvenir shop or anything to buy. So visitors come in a steady stream tend to snap there shots , children play on the stones and are gone within 15 mins.
There are 40 stones in a circle approximately 30 metres in diameter. . It was probably built around 3000 BC – the beginning of the later Neolithic Period – and is one of the earliest stone circles in Britain and Europe.
With fantastic panoramic views all around on a good day it is worth spending some time just relaxing here and wondering why it was built as no one really knows.
There would be a cattle pad along this ridgeline. It is also the route that the majority of people would have followed. From time to time it was apparent on this day. Probably more so the further you got east of Mt.Haldon. Oddly though, the grass seemed to get longer the further east you got.

Floyd spotted an error in the equation! We debated--was there time? People were seated already; they'd see us. Yeah, but Adam would totally spot it, and it would be wrong in their wedding photos. Quick, quick, to the boards!
Quick one under the Dultplatz's bridge. I think this one will not stay for a long time, because it seems to be a writers spot. Shoot to SHNZL.
Had to make a quick sketch to visualize the angles for some reason. The brain doesn't always fire on all cylinders on a Sunday afternoon...

The Rail Bug has made another half-mile hop towards Honeybourne unloading new sleepers as First Great Western Turbo Express set 166212 passes with another 100 miles to run before it reaches London Paddington on Saturday, March 19, 2011.
I am wiping this faceup clean in a moment, not that it was finished anyway but it got some splashes on the face I tried to get off which has left it looking patchy.
So starting again. But good to know it has been re strung. Does anyone know anyone who has Littlefee El that was made into a girl because I am struggling because the face is still quite boyish.
Oh n yes those eyebrows need moving down, I know, it looks freaky, but you get the drift. I won't take this up as a hobbie, I am rubbish xxx
