the lettering on this page was created using a set of alphabet stamps that i carved. when i went to stamp an alphabet sentence, i noticed there was an "s" left over.....i had stamped the sentence wrong! oops.

Brompfications Seat Clamp Quick Release has a beautiful machined handle, and stand out in its simple elegance. You can choose between handles in polished brass or a very lightweight version in black anodized aluminium alloy. This new version of our quick release have a 5 mm longer handle and the axle and barrel nut are made from titanium.
With a weight of only 19 grams, Brompfication's Seat Clamp Quick Release saves 34 grams over the original! The large weight savings come from a different design solution and the use of titanium and 7075 T6 aluminium - an aluminium alloy with a high strength-to-density ratio. The brass version is a bit heavier, but still saves you about 19 grams.
The end cap and the concave washer are also machined from 7075 T6 aluminium and are black anodized. The quick release uses a 5 mm titanium axle with rolled thread.
Do not buy this without knowing which model will fit your bike. To find out which model of the Seat Clamp Quick Release you need, you have to measure the hole in the right side of the Seat Clamp (the side where the chain wheel is) . If the hole is 8 mm, it's an old frame. If the hole is 6 mm, it's a new frame.
