I don't know what the fuss was but there was a bit queue outside HMV - one day when the physical sales of music are virtually nil (and almost everything is downloaded), such queues will seem quaint - kids will be amazed that we once waited in long lines to purchase the latest hit single. Tomorrow's History?

Tickets for the Petronas Twin Towers in KL are available from 8:30am. They're doled out on a first-come, first-serve basis. This was at 8:45am – by the time I got to the front of the queue, I had scored a ticket for the 3:30pm viewing (it's very popular!)

When the pilot announces they are awaiting advice from the Technical Team, and the plane sits there at the end of a taxi for quite some time, you start to think that you might end up back at the gate...

 

...but it all ended OK and off we went.

September 19, 2008 (Friday) - We had to wait in line to enter the gallary to see 'David'. This was about the only morning of the three weeks when we saw any rain.

"But Muuuum! The queue goes right round the corner!"

Thankfully I didn't have to wait in this long line to check in. I got to wait in the "no luggage" line since my bag was checked in St. Louis.

Outside the queue is pretty stable and smooth for this year.

The lineup for their daily meal circled the entire building. And I didn't witness any shoving.

When they all gorged themselves, we tucked into the leftovers. It was pure nirvana.
