So today I went to London to see the Jubilee Pageant!
Well that was the plan anyway, I saw the the Royal whilst balancing very precariously on a fence, and then the rest of the day consisted of finding a peep hole through 10-men-deep crowds and queueing for half an hour because they wouldn't let us through the main entrance of Waterloo :(
Buuuut.. apart from that (and the rain) there was a very nice atmosphere and made me very proud to be British :D

There was an interminable queue at the entrance No1 at the Plitvice Lakes at the start of my second day there. Some had to wait about 1h15...
Thanks god, I bought a two-days entrance so I didn't have to wait that long.
It is still one of the most beautiful places you'll find in Croatia.
If you ever get the opportunity to go there, just go!
11:40 am. Outside of the main entrance of the Disney Store. Art of Jasmine merchandise display. Waiting in line, just before entering the Disney Store.
Day 2 of the D23 Expo 2015 on Saturday Aug 15, 2015
Goals: D23 Exclusive Limited Edition Red Jasmine 17'' Doll, Art of Jasmine LE items, an extra D23 Exclusive LE Elsa and Hans 12'' Doll Set.
I got to the Anaheim Convention Center at 4:45 am. Then I was told that they had moved the lineup for D23 shopping from Hall E to Hall A, the opposite side of the building. So I went to Hall A, and they told me to go upstairs to the Stage 28 queue room. I saw lots of people laying down in the hallway next to the room, some of them apparently sleeping. Inside the room, it was less than half full of people. It was about 5:15 am. At about 6:30 am, they started moving us downstairs, to the lobby of Hall A. Then at about 8:50, the lines started moving, and I got into the main exhibit hall at about 9 am. We went to the end of the line for the Disney Store, which was in the back of the store. This was where the second part of yesterday's line was located. So I figured that it meant that I would get into the Disney Store a lot earlier than yesterday.
Sure enough, I got into the Disney Store at about 11:40 am. I was told before hand that they still had the D23 exclusive Elsa/Hans set and LE Red Jasmine doll so I was feeling good. I quickly rounded up the Elsa/Hans set first, especially since I saw that there were very few left on the shelves. In fact, as I picked out my doll, I heard a CM tell another person that she was lucky to get a Elsa/Hans set because there wasn't any left in the back. Then I went for the Red Jasmine doll. I was relieved to see that there was plenty of her on the shelves, in two locations. So I took my time picking out one for myself. I then got most of the LE Art of Jasmine merchandise. I also grabbed a LE Frozen ornament set, but passed on getting the LE Olaf figure. I checked out my goods at 12:20, and then left the D23 to go home. I had very satisfying day of shopping.
Bus Stop - O'Connell Street - Dublin - Ireland
If I recall correctly this is one of the bus stops just outside Penneys (aka Primark in the UK and abroad) department store.

09:00 (approx) Received my wristband from the exellent blue-vest crew near the London Eye.
09:23 Over Lambeth Bridge and through Gate G8A, Millbank.
09:28 Into the first of two zig-zag ranks of parallel rows in Victoria Tower Gardens South.
09:59 Single file to pass the Buxton Memorial Fountain then the second set of zig-zag rows.
11:25 Single file again, passing the Burghers of Calais sculpture and the Parliamentary Education Centre.
11:45 Through the airport-style security check. Cameras, phones, loose change etc into a tray. Body scanner, quick frisk, collect me bits.
11:47 Phones off, slowly enter Westminster Hall. Silence. Parliamentary staff whisper directions. Calm, serene. Standing vigil, Gentlemen at Arms, Beefeaters, Life Guards, Blues and Royals*, motionless, perfect.
12:00 And then it was over. Out into New Palace Yard and Parliament Square.
Well organised every step of the way, with marshals and Scouts on hand to help, everyone queuing and filing past the catafalque displaying impeccable manners.
God Save the King.

*Officers from the five units of the Foot Guards – the Grenadier Guards, Coldstream Guards, Scots Guards, Irish Guards and Welsh Guards; and the two regiments of The Household Cavalry – The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals – provide the inner Guard. All take their turn, with each regiment covering a six-hour period each. They are joined by an outer Guard of Her Majesty's Bodyguard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The Queen's Bodyguard of the Yeomen of the Guard and The Royal Company of Archers. [MoD]
