ok, i want to work on getting sprout's hair 100% this week.

her part is rooted & thatched but the hair is sitting up higher than normal-not laying flat like regular stock hair.

sooooo, since it is heatproof, can i do the wet towel/iron method to get it to lie flat against her scalp?

I think I am right on this one. It is so crazy how much they resemble a leaf. I saw this one fly from the grass into the tree and I really had to look for it!

Thanks for the comments and "faves" :)

So i have gotten into the habit of taking pictures everyday...or at least almost everday. Now i am wonderin if i should do a 365 or not...not all self portraits [but im working on doing more of those as you may as noticed.] So i'd like the opinion of my flickr friends. Would you guys actually follow it if I did a 365?

an ad in the subway for the School of Visual Arts with one of my favorite Rilke quotes, from Letters to a Young Poet

"Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way into the answer." — R.M. Rilke

Note-Grids are a tool for collecting and connecting objects of thought (in this case, words).

They treat words and other manifestations of thought as objects that can be freely manipulated to create new meaning.

They break meaning up into individual words to facilitate a more fluid, intuitive, and improvisational approach to knowledge production.

You white people make a big talk, and sometimes war, if an Indian kills a white man's ox to keep his wife and children from starving. What do you think my people ought to say and do when they themselves see their buffalo killed by your race when you are not hungry? ~ Little Robe.

Hello everyone, my name is Buddy! I am a 14-year-old, neutered male Pomeranian who needs someone to love! I am a super sweet and friendly old boy. I get along well with everyone and everything. I'm good with kids, cats and dogs of all sizes. I am just happy to have companionship and people who love me and take good care of me. I came from a home of severe neglect, but I immediately showed that I have so much love to give. My fur was matted and dirty, so the first order of business was a bath and grooming. I feel so much better losing all that matted dead fur. Next was a trip to the vet. I have cataracts and a thyroid condition that is being treated with medication, but I am otherwise healthy. I hope someone out there will give me a chance. I love people and being part of a family. I'm a really sweet boy and a really good dog. I just need someone out there to want me as badly as I want to be wanted. Please give me a chance! Adoption fee: $75. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 60 days of free pet insurance and microchip.
