- Stunning macro of Ambonus interrogationis, the "question mark beetle". A South American longhorn beetle isolated on white, named for the unique punctuation-like mark on its back. A perfect nature detail.

The book design follows the Japanese folded paper layout. The pictures are to be "read"

(When I made it I thought the meaning was clear. Now I am puzzled. Any ideas? what it "said"?)

Poems Question (August 1999)

One of the most common questions from visitors to Glacier Bay is, “What makes the ice blue?” The ice is blue because that is its true color. This color is expressed because the ice is pure, which allows the light to penetrate sufficiently far that the reds, yellows and violets are differentially absorbed from the light spectrum, leaving the blues and greens to be transmitted back to one’s eye. Ice looks white when it contains too many air bubbles that scatter the light back before it can be differentially absorbed by the ice. This example came from the bottom of Lamplugh Glacier. I was camped near the base of the glacier and while exploring its edge, I was able to safely maneuver to a crevasse (a large crack). I liked the abstract pattern created by the sand contrasted against the blue ice, as well as the ambiguity of the scale. This photo frames only about five square feet of ice.

Despite the "No", this image ended up being a "Yes". Mariia's expression appears to be one of consideration of the message painted on the wall, and leads the viewer to wonder what is the question.

While geocaching on our Last Mountain Lake holiday we got to stop at all kinds of interesting places. One cache near Manitou Beach (near Watrous, SK) was hidden far from travelled roads in a corral used in the 1950's. The huge lumber and liberal use of iron was striking.

Without question, this was the most well-attended session in my two days in Boston.

Noche Q sobre el mar

I posted a question on my Paris If You Please Facebook page of these welcoming spikes in silhouette asking if anyone could guess what they were. I'll include that pic in the text below.

You can see here quite clearly what they are, but that doesn't reveal for us quite the reason why the people living in these particular Parisian apartments feel the need for quite such a strong deterrent for anyone considering the idea of shinnying up the drainpipe for whatever reason.

I'd say it's effective though, as the slight urge I felt to get up there was immediately quashed upon considering the prospect of getting one of those things accidentally lodged in one of my eye sockets. I'm sure you can see what I mean.

Not that this sort of paranoid behaviour seems to be common in Paris. I'm not sure what the crime rate actually is, but you don't hear about break-ins that often (although you do hear about them). I guess digicodes and pretty public front walls have a lot to do with that.

The arts help us question, develop, explain, criticise and rethink societal and personal paradigms in the diverse areas we work in. Waag co-moderated a special day at Ars Electronica in which this valuable interplay between science technology and arts was given centre stage. This was done as part of the STARTS Initiative; a European Commission program to promote synergies between art and technology to drive innovation in industry and society.

When you ask this question, the answer will depend on your needs and preferences. If this is the first time for you, answering some questions below may help you to speed up your searching:

How big your TV console would be? Or How big is your available space for the console?

Is it sturdy enough to accommodate your TV?

How big is the storage you want to store your belongings?

How to place your TV console? Wall mounted or standing?

When looking for the TV console or TV stand you should consider all of the questions and need to locate one by one so that you will find the perfect TV stand for you. I assume that you have owned a TV and now you need few things to consider.

Each TV stand come with the spec on the site telling you the exact measurement of the unit and how much it weighs. When looking at these numbers, you will know whether it can cater all your needs or not. Make sure the TV stand is spacious enough to accommodate the entire part of TV. The great thing about reading specifications is that you can tell how big the unit so that you will know the exact unit you need in term of its size.

When it comes to storage you may find that many units come with various options such as cabinets, drawers, and shelving. Regardless of their functions, this can be decided by your personal choice and taste. If you are wondering how, consider the plan to store any belonging to the TV stand. Do you own a lot of DVDs? Marla Teak TV Cabinet sold in Wihardja site is definitely one for you. Or perhaps you want to put your CDs there for easy access? Sofie Teak TV Console is worth to check since it comes with 4 storage drawers at both sides so that you can store your CDs there.

Sorts of questions will help you to locate the right tv console.

Although there is no exact science explains the main role of the TV console, many people and interior designers agree that it is supposedly the focal point in your room. So you want to make sure that it will be suitable to be placed among the other furniture Singapore. To find more options, you can browse around in the official site of Wihardja. Answer all 4 questions I mentioned and your searching is one step ahead.

The tide was coming in in the morning and all these holes in the shore started bubbling. Was it just water draining out of the sand creating space where air could fill in? Was it some type of animal's home that dug all night only to be drowned in the morning? What ever it was it was freaky when all the sudden you hear gurgle gurgle.
