QR code, the new monogram
Our parents used initials but we identify ourselves through our homepages, facebook, ... This one directs to our homepage (and it works!).
Cross stictched on a vintage hanky passed on to me from my mother. I don't think she crocheted this one though as hers are usually embroidered and monogrammed, an aunt maybe (need to ask her).
QR code for theFUZZhawaii.blogspot.com (it's also written out on the back of the tag). Printed on paper and sealed with clear packing tape.

Spotted at 4th and Burrard today. Points to some art and a store to buy: www.perfick.com/
Good stuff, definitely had me excited to see where the code would go. Also like that they have a message on the site welcoming visitors from the QR code.
It just can't get worse than that - the only legal way of reading the code is while stopping at the streetlight (and this is rarely used pedestrian crossing with on-demand green), photo taken using phone with max zoom (no, Google Goggles did not detect the robot vomit, but it did suggest it is similar to like button).
QRcode takes you to naitused.toukari.ee that nicely completes the markting mix - that's supposed to promote a spring fair (btw - you need to turn left on next crossing and then drive some 10km). Yes, the yellow shit not-very-exactly-pointed by red arrow is the actual "ad" (only readable words are placename Luige and stating the obvious that it is spring 2012).
Conservation group The Big Wild is using QR codes on outdoor posters to raise awareness for a petition to protect the Flathead River Valley in British Columbia and the Restigouche Watershed in Quebec and New Brunswick.
Darren Barefoot of The Big Wild, a group founded by Mountain Equipment Co-Op and the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, said The Big Wild is the first environmental group in Canada to try out the codes, which he hopes will pique interest by using what is still a rarely used technology in Canada.

This is a QR code which shows the system that you have found a particular object in the Museum of English Rural Life, Reading, UK. This sort of idea is being used in the iMuse programme see www.imuse.org.uk
Love this example of using a QR Code to allow consumers to call by scanning instead of dialing. Apps need to get a hell of a lot more seamless for this to be faster, imho. But it shows potential for QR codes.
Digital content delivery, via the ScanNap promotional cockail napkin, is absolutely perfect for film festivals, music festivals and similar events. This ScanNap digital cocktail napkin was provided free of charge to many of the finer nightclubs, restaurants and bars in and around the City of Edmonds, WA - just prior to The 2010 Edmonds International Film Festival. The promotion allowed future event attendee's an exclusive sneak peek at several of the festivals film trailers, for several weeks leading up to the actual event. The ScanNap resolved to a landing page which we created for the festival; it allowed users to view trailers, buy tickets (click2call & online), preview the event calendar, showcase all of the event sponsors and linked to the film festivals YouTube Channel, Facebook Page and Twitter Feeds. It was interesting to learn the following: once scanned, the ScanNap content was then easily shared with all of the contacts within the address book of each users mobile device, resulting in an exponential number of conversions, making this an extremely successful campaign. Best of all, the event organizers received completely measurable scan metrics reporting for the duration of The 2010 Edmonds International Film Festival. You will too - so Call Now!
