À Paris, le quartier de Chaillot est riche de onze institutions culturelles de très haut niveau, héritières pour la plupart des Expositions Universelles de la fin du 19ème siècle et du début du 20ème.
Musées, théâtres, centres d’art et institutions patrimoniales, dédiés aussi bien à l’art contemporain, à la danse, à la musique qu’aux arts asiatiques, à la mode, l’architecture, l’histoire des hommes et de la marine constituent un pôle d'attractivité culturelle d'une très grande variété. Ce réseau a pour nom "la Colline des Arts".
Il n'est qu'à quelques centaines de mètres de la rive gauche avec des musées et des sites patrimoniaux de première importance comme le musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac ou la Tour Eiffel.
Cet audioguide a été réalisé par l'auteur, sur la plateforme gratuite "Izi Travel" à partir de ses photos prises ces dernières années dans les institutions de la colline des arts. Une voix artificielle a été utilisée pour les commentaires sonores comme le propose la plateforme.
Les photos de l'audioguide, avec beaucoup d'autres, sont accessibles sur mon compte Flickr. L'audioguide est destiné à des étudiants en voyage d'étude à Paris.

QR code, the new monogram
Our parents used initials but we identify ourselves through our homepages, facebook, ... This one directs to our homepage (and it works!).
Cross stictched on a vintage hanky passed on to me from my mother. I don't think she crocheted this one though as hers are usually embroidered and monogrammed, an aunt maybe (need to ask her).
i just came home after buying some adidas gloves and noticed, that they have a qr-code sewn in.
i wonder what info they are storing in the code. since there doesn't seem to be a os-x version of a decoder i ask if someone can help me.

The iPhone QR code scanner app I used couldn't scan it. Maybe because the code wasn't flat, but curved around the pole? Also, don't make me have to bend down in order to scan a code. I'm tall, but even so, regular-sized people would still have go bend down. That said, I don't think the Vancouver Opera company had a say in placement.
Just out of curiosity, using a computer, tablet or phone, how would you find out where this QR Code goes to? You are only permitted to use one device, and no mirrors!
