Victoria's Secret scored serious attention when they put their QR codes in some pretty scandalous places. Intrigued smart-phone carriers could scan the code and reveal—no, not unclothed models--but Victoria’s Secret’s newest lingerie (hence the “sexier than skin” tagline).
bluer cyan are fiducials for tracking or quiet zones, can't be modified.
yellow is format and version information that describe how big the code is and what the error correction level is.
magenta is timing information (alternating black/white).
the blocks of black/white pixels are data (cyan borders) and error correction (red borders).

More toying with QR Codes. I continued to mess with the code's degeneration allowance to tweak the image to push the allure of the idea and not rely on the randomness.
