This picture shows what it used to be covered in. It was covered in limestone and initially had a gold pyramid on the top.
I quite liked this pyramidal orchid (Anacamptis pyramidalis) which was growing on a rocky outcrop and therefore had a nice clean background.

The class constructed Sierpinski's triangle using adding machine tape. The final pyramid was almost 6 feet tall.

this pyramid in saqqara, built by the architect Imhotep in the 27th century BC is considered to be the first pyramid.
Pyramids at Meroe. I was told that an Italian explorer was looking for treasure and lopped off the tops of the pyramids. Unfortunately, he found it in the first pyramid and continued destroying the tops of the other pyramids in his search. Hence all these funny looking pyramids with the tops cut off.

Red Pyramid as seen from the north-west corner of the Bent Pyramid. Again, it is possible to discern a reddish tint to the structure, which gave rise to its modern name.
