Pyramid Lake, with Pyramid Mountain overlooking it, is located 7km north of the town of Jasper, in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada.
I noticed these pyramid shapes on the top of the building whilst walking along in Brighton. They stood at against the very blue sky.
Wearing a pyramid, which is triangular shaped, whilst being wary of a stone with Anubis, the Egyptian god of death.
We're Here looks at Triangles today.
For the public, these falls are most easily seen from the train connecting Vancouver to Jasper and are difficult to see otherwise. After announcements, the train slows down so that people can get a glimpse (and a good photo if ready with their camera). The creek is said to be glacial in origin and was also called Glacier Creek.

Found this gem near Jasper National Park in Canada. Patricia lake and Pyramid Island. Got up early to see if I get lucky to get good light over sunrise. What a morning, great time to roll through the lights and sun. Enjoy!!
Pyramids at Giza, Egypt (Taken with my cell phone - Nokia Lumia 1020) Very, very Hot! Dry heat, so not too bad, but still hot.
This early morning composition was taken at St Catherine’s Hill nature reserve SSSI in Hampshire as the pyramidals start to reach their peak. 30.06.22

Taken at Pyramid Lake in Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada. I will have limited internet access for the next six weeks, so I probably won't be able to respond to comments as I would like to.

I've just spent a few hours going back through the hard drives and looking at some images I missed from last year. Here are a few of the 40 odd images that I hope to upload in due time.
One from a local meadow.
Water Tank was once used for steam locomotives the tracks were removed around 1963. Anaho island with its distinctive pyramid shape can be seen on east side of the lake, the lake is on the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Reservation. Hasselblad 501C ,Carl Zeiss CF f / 2.8 80mm , Ilford FP4 Plus
Taken at Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation with a Vivitar XV 5 and Vivitar 135mm f2.8 lens and Kodak Ektachrome. I took it last February and had the film in the camera until two weeks ago.

The Bent Pyramid at Dashur, built for Snefru, on a hazy winter morning. The locally quarried masonry from which most of the monument is built is exposed at its crumbling base, with higher-quality imported limestone for the external sheathing. An unusual amount of this sheathing layer is still intact, in part due to Dashur's remote location. In contrast, the pyramids at Giza were largely stripped of their sheathing materials for reuse in Medieval and later buildings in Cairo.
Old Kingdom, 4th Dynasty, late 27th/early 26th century BCE, Dashur.
The Red Pyramid at Dashur was the third attempt at a pyramid for Snefru, the inaugural 4th Dynasty ruler who (rather madly) ordered the largest construction spree in human history via continual tomb-building projects. Two previous tombs appear to have been abandoned, with the collapse of a partially completed steep-walled pyramid at Meidum, and then the unused Bent pyramid about 2km to the south. The latter's angle was found to be too steep midway during construction and was adjusted to lower angle on its upper half; the Red Pyramid has this same angle (43°) throughout but a larger footprint, bringing it to equal the 105m height of the Bent Pyramid. The result was evidently the first straight-sided true pyramid. Though it was immediately surpassed by the Great Pyramid at Giza, the Red Pyramid remains the third largest ever completed.

Teotihuacan is a vast Mexican archaeological complex northeast of Mexico City. Running down the middle of the site, which was once a flourishing pre-Columbian city, is the Avenue of the Dead. It links the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Pyramid of the Moon and the Pyramid of the Sun, the latter two with panoramic views from their summits.
Chaybert-StephenOachs Road Trip - Day 1
I met up with Chaybert (aka Brian Rueb) in Reno Nevada this past weekend to head into the Black Rock Desert to photograph a place known as "Fly Geyser", and then whatever else caught our eye.
After loading up, we left the armpit known as Reno (sorry Reno-ites, no offense) and headed north into the late afternoon. The sky was dramatic and we knew we wouldn't make it to Gerlach (our destination) by sunset so we decided to stop at Pyramid Lake to wait for sunset, which look promising. We found some nice composition on the southeast side of the lake and setup. The wind was blowing pretty good and the water was very choppy so we knew we were going to have to take some long exposures to smooth things out. Needless to say, the sunset did produce some great color and most excellent clouds.
This shot is exactly how the scene presented itself to me -- sharp foreground rocks (literally) and whispy, streaking cloud effects enhanced by a 25 second exposure at f/22 and using a 3-stop Singh-Ray ND filter in combination with a hard step 2 stop Singh-Ray ND (shameless plug).
Stay tuned for Day 2...and I'm sure if you want to read even more details, visit the Chaybert Photostream as he always has a way with words and the stories behind such adventures.

Descending into Cairo International Airport in my World Airways MD-11. There were dozens of smaller pyramids along my route of flight.
This is one of the prettiest peaks in Fiordland National Park I think. Image shot from Key Summit, stitched together from three separate images. Pyramid Peak is a 2,295-metre-elevation mountain summit in the Fiordland Region of New Zealand. Lucky with some visibility this day as the peak is often fully covered by clouds. I like the contrast of the dark pointy peak and the white patches of snow and light. Glorious.
I found many images on our walk yesterday windswept landscapes wild flowers and flowing grasses but alas no Owl,maybe another time .
But what I did find was a patch of pyramid Orchids which have a lovely vibrant colour. I have another couple of images of these that I will post another time, I did so enjoy myself yesterday shooting with longer lenses and picking out detail though too windy for macro work, we cannot seem to shake off these strong winds day after day .

Pyramid Lake, Jasper National Park, Jasper, Alberta, Canada
A gorgeous sunrise from Pyramid Island on Pyramid Lake (not very creative when it came to names), looking east. I had run out of bugspray that morning, and was subsequently eaten alive by mosquitoes while trying to take photos. I was desperate and ended up using some branches to swat them off, but that didn't deter them. But for this dazzling sunrise, it was worth the blood loss and intense itchiness later on.
I want to say I am looking at Grisette Mountain, with possible glimpses of Mt. Dromore and Mt. Colin, but I am not quite sure about the last two.
The pyramid of Djoser (or Djeser and Zoser), sometimes called the Step Pyramid of Djoser, is an archaeological site in the Saqqara necropolis, Egypt, northwest of the ruins of Memphis. The 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt. It was built in the 27th century BC during the Third Dynasty for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser. The pyramid is the central feature of a vast mortuary complex in an enormous courtyard surrounded by ceremonial structures and decoration. Its architect was Imhotep, chancellor of the pharaoh and high priest of the god Ra.
Pyramid Mountain, southeast side, viewed from Pyramid Island, on Pyramid Lake, near Jasper, Alberta. The ruddy coloring of the rocks is due to iron oxide (rust) content.
Pyramid Island with the footbridge to it is a favorite dark sky viewing site for local astronomers as the mountains shield the lake from light pollution and are at low vertical angles to allow viewing most of the sky.
Unfortunately for us, it was overcast like so almost the whole time we were in the area so we could not see the stars.
