Water purifies the soul as well as the body. For the first time ever this purification is seen! Try it at your own risk.
: to make pure
: to clear from material defilement or imperfection
: to free from guilt or moral or ceremonial blemish
: to free from undesirable elements
: to grow or become pure or clean
There is a custom where worshippers offer water to the Buddha here before visiting the shrine. Offering water is a way to pray for the repose of the souls of ancestors and deceased loved ones, and also to purify one's body and mind before visiting the shrine . In the past, there was no bridge, so people would take off their shoes, enter the river, and perform a purification ritual before visiting the shrine.

White is maybe the most rigorous and psychological color, it seems to purify the surfaces, it’s a color that makes the vacuum merge. The empty spaces have slight contrasts of shape as a value.
I like to deal with this non-pigmentation because it is process is a ramification of many harmonic elements that allude to a perfect informality. These pictures may seem incongruous because they are elegant and messy at the same time. They are contemporary, I took familiar objects like: “Burger King” glasses, crumbled pills, glasses of plastic or packs, which I photographed in high key. This kind of illumination, in which high and white tones are predominant, spreads positivity and freshness, which is another element of contrast towards the mess of the scenery, that often has a dirty tablecloth, like someone suddenly left the meal. The position of elements is never random, but it is necessary to highlight the constituent structure: pieces of silverware, pills, bottles, remains of food or dry branches are often put close to each other on levels, like there was a narrative correlation more or less narrow between each other. There is no human presence, but it is re-invoked through the representation of objects, where plasticity alternates with flatness, creating at the same time tension and melancholy.
Before beginning his curious discoveries here on planet Earth, Zadoc the Imperial Jumptrooper felt the urge to purify himself. After turning my medicine cabinet upside down, he found some alcohol pads and dug right in. Out of 100 pads, he used 99, before he felt really pure.
And for those of you wondering why his boots are still dirty, Zadoc the Imperial Jumptrooper wishes to give the following explanation: "That is not dirt, that is camouflage paint!"

"Winter then in its early and clear stages, was a purifying engine that ran unhindered over city and country, alerting the stars to sparkle violently and shower their silver light into the arms of bare upreaching trees. It was a mad and beautiful thing that scoured raw the souls of animals and man, driving them before it until they loved to run. And what it did to Northern forests can hardly be described, considering that it iced the branches of the sycamores on Chrystie Street and swept them back and forth until they rang like ranks of bells."
― Mark Helprin, Winter's Tale
I woke up early this morning and to my surprise, it had snowed through the night. I had been waiting for the snow to "purify" this tree. No amazing colors in the sky, but the tree handled it's own just fine.

Experimenting again. This was the first time i tried to wrap smb entirely inside newspapers. It took me 1 hour and 8 newspapers :)
The figure on this pic represents the grey brainwashed mass of our society. And as he lays under the heap of leaves, he purifies himself. And connects to Earth.
This is the first photo from one of my other project. More coming soon.
As always, all positive (including negative if explaned) comments are welcome :)

There were beautiful spots to click in "water world" but they were full of people most of times, I was going to my room with mother when I saw there wasn't anybody around this little fall so I set the tripod with the camera, the exposure, etc, and asked mom to press the timer... this is the result.
I'm so grateful to have spent a few days there, I really needed to energize, get in touch with nature, remind myself of the beautiful things in life and leave the rotten ones behind. ...and as a bonus, I came back with a couple of cool photos... this is one of my favorites.
for different reasons I haven't been that active on Flickr lately, I'm sorry for that and not being able to visit very often my contacts and friends vwho post here, I really appreciate your comments, faves and support. But stay tuned my friends, there is more to come.

I was proposed to on February 29th four years ago, then married and cheated upon within 13 months. Have left all of that behind now but decided it would be appropriate remembrance to melt down the ring I was presented with. A way of exorcising the last of the demons that left me feeling strangely elated.

Goetheanum | Dornach | Switzerland
An architectural series of an anthroposophic building in Dornach, Switzerland.
The Goetheanum is the world center for the anthroposophical movement.
The building was designed by Rudolf Steiner and named after Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. It includes two performance halls (1500 seats), gallery and lecture spaces, a library, a bookstore, and administrative spaces for the Anthroposophical Society; neighboring buildings house the society's research and educational facilities. Conferences focusing on themes of general interest or directed toward teachers, farmers, doctors, therapists, and other professionals are held at the center throughout the year.
Both the present Goetheanum building and its precursor have been widely cited as masterpieces of modern architecture.
Steiner's architecture is characterized by a liberation from traditional architectural constraints, especially through the departure from the right-angle as a basis for the building plan. For the first Goetheanum he achieved this in wood by employing boat builders to construct its rounded forms; for the second Goetheanum by using concrete to achieve sculptural shapes on an architectural scale. The use of concrete to achieve organically expressive forms was an innovation for the times; in both buildings, Steiner sought to create forms that were spiritually expressive.
