I have the problem of an embarrassment of riches. I came up with a really kickass rifle design and now I don't know how best to make use of it.
The subject was spotted making his way across town on foot about 20 minutes after the raid. Agents were dispatched to his location to obtain him quickly.
Finally with the arrival of spring break I was able to make something to finish the story of James Namarra from the Purge challenge. So here's James on the run across the city. I'll have a follow-up soon enough.
So, I've been told I have way too many clothes, and some of them have to go. Which is true. So the other week I spent some hours going through my wardrobe, suitcases and assorted bags, trying to be as ruthless as I could. Which probably wasn't ruthless enough.
One of the items I thought I'd get rid of is this flowery skirt, which I've had for years, and rarely worn. But... before it went to the purge pile, I thought I'd try it on. And, then realised, yes, I could probably make it work. So here you are.
Another officey bitch look, perfect for those WFH days (of which I have many).
From the concert where The Commanded Heart and the other LGBT Purge commemorative songs were premiered. The event started with a heart-stopper - the fire alarm system started to go, a persistent loud beep and strobe lights. Everyone prayed we wouldn't have to evacuate and those prayers were answered! Whew... I was a bit of the odd man out in the wardrobe department, but that stems from my sense that we commemorate and honour the sacrifices of those before us by living life joyously and with exuberance. I'm reluctant to post too much of The Commanded Heart itself, as Geoff and I won't own the rights for a while, but will post the lyrics as sung which where printed in the program, and a link from somebody who did record the song.

"Then the voice says, 'They have washed their robes and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.'
There they are. There *we* are - the multitude who so wanted to be faithful, who at times got defeated, soiled by life, and bested by trials, wearing the bloodied garments of life's tribulations, but through it all clung to faith.
My friends, if this is not good news to you, you have never understood the gospel of grace.”
― Brennan Manning, The Ragamuffin Gospel
I was so happy with the way this came out because it was just as I imagined it to be! Like many others I'm sure, this holds a special meaning to me - being cleansed with spirit, being purged of sin. Trusting in our love and faithful in our beliefs. Feeling ourselves suspended as we are filled with light - chasing away those shadows in which we have gained.
Fun fact: The sky you see is the actual sky in the scene. It was so beautiful that night - a combination of sunset and dark storm clouds. It was perfect.

I needed to purge my yarn stash, so I asked our therapist if her mom, who works at a senior living facility, if they would accept it as a donation. She is going to store it in her office for a couple weeks to ensure there is no potential issues.
I was so happy I could give it to someone and not just throw it away (our donation centers don't accept yarn or fabric, I've tried). I decided that I was going to properly wind all the yarn for the seniors as my gift from one knitter to another. It took the good part of the afternoon, but there's nothing like knitting from a properly wound ball of yarn.
The epoch begins when the apotheosis of ideals are drawn in the sand. It is assumed that the approach of a visionary would be to follow the ways of the presuppositions that have been set in stone; yet, the complexity of matters do not always articulate a linear path. One can choose to traverse the dreaded-track, one that is designed to cause even the mightiest to falter; yet, one can imagine that now with the banners risen and with the bridges burnt, the trek forward will not be hindered by the bruises inflicted beneath ones feet; standing and feeling one's worth, assuming the role of fuel and of fire both to find a place where sight begins.
