Back in April of 2006, many WC SD45s along with GTW SD40 5922 sit in the deadline in Homewood, IL. Almost every unit in this line was scrapped on site shortly after I took this photo. Today, these tracks no longer exist, and a CN training building now stands here.

CSX Q216 rounds Mance curve and passes the Snyder Brothers' revamped Post Office, descending Sand Patch grade behind the correct leader. A few years later, this particular specimen wound up on Pan Am when CSX purged most of their Dash 8s.
I'd love to get up to the Iron Range at some point - but for the life of me, I cannot possibly fathom why people rushed up there just to see a bunch of these clunkers.
