On an annual basis, I like to empty out all the storage containers in my basement and see what I can part with. Logically speaking, I could go down there and throw each container out since I rarely if ever open them out, but I hesitate and procrastinate, so every year, a little more makes it's way to the donation bin, recycle bin, or dumpster.
This week has been about cleaning up the house and the basement was the biggest job. My new years tradition I guess you could say.
So as we close out another year and start a new one, I'd like to thank everyone who has been on this Flickr journey with me, to all my contacts, friends and followers, I've drawn inspiration from you countless times and always in awe of what you come up with, I cannot wait to see where 2016 takes your creative minds!
Happy New Years, I hope 2015 was a superb year for you, and that 2016 will be that much better!

Another shot from yesterday's wander around an abandoned bomb store. We found this smaller tunnel on site with water droplets hanging off the ceiling. Shot in one photographic exposure with tripod and lens swaps.
So this is my application MOC for the Dark Times Group and here is the storyline to go along with it!
After Count Dooku was killed by Jedi Anakin Skywalker over Coruscant, Jedi Master Noryyk Tayl'lon was sent to Canyon to wipe out a remaining droid factory there. During the fight, his clones turned on him. He managed to defend himself for a time, but was soon overwhelmed and perished. His clones, led by Commander Ross led the Republic to victory at Canyon and headed back to Coruscant thereafter.
It's good to purify.
It's always nice to catch up with your bestie. Even if only for a short while.
Harper puts up with me; all my self-inflicted wounds, my baggage, the problems I create in my relationships and friendships... all of it.
And yet, she still lets me get it all out. She listens. She advises. She cares.
There have been times when she has kept me in SL.
And I'm thankful for her.
And thankful for the purge.

EU operatives hunt down some of the last remaining Warsaw Pact soldiers outside of Germany.
Wasn't too entirely happy with the last picture (and neither was Andreas with my makeshift commando) so I rearranged and added something, and tried to get a slightly better pic. Ended up with two one pretty good ones. I've now decided I didn't really like the other one. So here's this! (Sorry Deff)

Podría considerarse una destrucción, un desguace de lo creado, una pequeña tragedia... pero la naturaleza es sabia: elimina lo caduco, lo superfluo, lo que estorba al rejuvenecimiento, a las nuevas frondes, a los nuevos paisajes, a la vida que, ahora, cobra nuevo vigor y tiene oportunidad y espacio para desarrollarse...
...muchas veces, por no desprendernos de objetos materiales, ideas, costumbres, hábitos, no dejamos abrir nuestras mentes a nuevos horizontes, a nuevas formas de enfocar nuestras vidas, a nuevas ideas que enriquezcan nuestro mundo, nuestras relaciones.
Quizá debiéramos hacer como la mar, que, de vez en cuando, hace su particular purga...
I still need to get the appropriate headgear and weaponry for these guys, but this is what I have so far.
Not sure what faction it should be for, I can still change the arms to Sand green for Warsaw Pact. Or they could be for Darkwater.
