Shot for Macro Monday's theme: "Pure Joy"
Pure joy is receiving a gift from a wonderful Flickr Friend! That she sent me a Reindeer Pez Dispenser filled me with pure joy and delight! Obviously, she remembers my exitement in discovering a bathroom wall covered with Pez Dispensers at a Chicago restaurant (the Cozy Noodle)!!

I love watching people on the rides at the Ex, whether it is utter terror or utter joy. It reminds me of the days when I couldn't wait for the Ex to start and go on all the rides until you inevitably felt sick to your stomach. There is so much fun to be had at the Ex.

Porque eu preciso tentar usar todos meus esmaltes de natal antes do ano novo (já que antes do natal não vai rolar não) HAHA
Quase chorei quando esses esmaltes chegaram porque né,já tava me vendo passando a páscoa com eles,mas não,todas coraciona o e-bay por entregar tudo rápido xD
O Winter Holly é um glitter verde com partículas douradas,e verdes claras e acho que prata, não sei,não sou boa pra definir cores (teste vocacional nunca indicará catalogadora das cores da Suvinil) mas é lindo,só isso.Ainda mais no sol,mas,sol cadê ?
Ele seca fosco,mas é um fosco MUITO bonito,mas eu queria brelhar MOITO então passei 2 camadas do Seche, mas mesmo assim não ficou liso ¬¬ Só eu acho que glitter absorve o TC e se eu passar 10 camadas ainda fica áspero ? Precsio daquela base de glitter da 5cinco.

Jurava que ele nunca cobriria a unha e que eu precisaria de um esmalte de base,mas não três camadinhas e tá assim lendo.
A esmaltação ficou afastada porque o palito tava muito grosso (ui!)
We always spend our vacation at Lake Tahoe. This time I was hoping to bring Kila but unfortunately the place we always stay at does not allow dogs. I can't say I blame them....not everybody loves dogs like we do. So my Mom and my sister Kathy stayed at our house to take care of Chewy, Pumpkin and Kila.
We are about three hours away from home. My husband Bob had to come back home on Sunday for a meeting he could not miss. I thought maybe he could bring Kila back with him for the last remaining two days we had in Tahoe. He called to tell me .....he just couldn't go get Kila...it would take him an extra hour of driving and he still had to come back to Tahoe, a three hour drive. I said...I understand and that was it.
Bob arrived at 11pm...knocked on the door ....I was glad he made it safely and he just stood there looking at me and then he said OK! Kila came running around the corner.....I think this was one on the best moments of my life. I hope people aren't too mad at us....because we had to sneak Kila in but she is very well trained and she is so good. She didn't cause any trouble. We had the best time......
I couldn't wait to take her to the Lake. She loves water so I knew she would love it. Kila was a little scared at first but with her Papa's guidance...she was swimming like a fish in no time!

My sister baked these wonderful cookies loaded with chocolate. They are packed with a variety of chocolate. The cookies themselves are made with unsweetened chocolate with semi-sweet morsels stirred in and topped with white chocolate kisses filled with milk chocolate. Pure Joy!!

She has been a volunteer at the Subdued Stringband Jamboree for at least the four years I've been photographing there. Her personality is as big as her smile...which is always present!
This is a shot near Mouse Creek Falls on Big Creek in the GSMNP. This is one of the hundreds, if not thousands of cascades like this along Big Creek. This is a place that you could go back to many times and come away with a different take every time. Hope you enjoy, and Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there!

Perhaps the biggest joy during the holiday time is creating something with your own hands to give to those around you. Ever since I can remember, it has been a tradition to bake up many of our favorite cookie and candy recipes and give family and friends cookie plates laden with dozens of these tasty treats. Luckily, the school holiday started early enough that we were able to get a good selection cooked up before the holidays.
These are some of my favorites: snicker-doodles with peppermint kisses on top for that holiday flair.

For Easter C got a bubble machine in his basket. He had so much fun chasing bubbles - for hours!
