Uno de los lugares donde menos tímido es el otoño es en el Valle de Benasque. Un lugar este, el de las Gorgas de Alba, que parece sacado de un cuento. Os aseguro que ninguna foto le puede hacer justicia. En cuanto a la imagen, el encuadre quizás arriesgado dejando demasiado espacio en la parte de arriba, pero es donde estaba el ambiente, así que decidí dejarlo así. De todas formas, tengo tantas de esa mañana que alguna diferente ya publicaré más adelante. Ahora no quería dejar pasar el otoño sin tener en la colección una de esta colorida estación. Además tuvimos la suerte de encontrarnos casi siempre con unas atmósferas increíbles. A mi lado estaban @rafadiez78 y @mardonss

Stopped in TC the other day when we were down there and bought a big rib eye steak at The Butcher's Block grand opening. A friend the day before dropped off a bag of morel mushrooms (she knew Dave and I weren't out walking in the woods this spring). This was just before I threw on the grill. Best steak we have had in years and the mushrooms made it all the better. Next year will be out for them again.

I didn't make photos (and photo edit) for more than four months. Really.
I miss my dolls so much T^T
But recently I tried to do something with this old picture of Luan and I'm pretty happy ♥

No amount of money can buy the beauty of a rainbow, soft pink morning sky, and the sounds of the ocean. Such things are priceless.

Out west exploring Utah with good friends from Australia and a big snow storm came through Bryce Canyon. I was taking a few photos and turned around and saw this scene unfolding. I only had a few seconds to try and get the shot and ended up capturing it perfectly. The snow ball mid air with the look of pure joy as Leonie runs from the oncoming snow ball. This was their first time in Bryce and first time visiting the US. Which was a very cool experience for the Aussies.
You could almost say the photo sits right on the boundary between:
“I see a zebra.”
and
“I see a female human form.”
In my opinion, the image allows for both interpretations.
This also explains why the concept of “pure femininity” is interesting: not because the image objectively depicts femininity, but because it concentrates several visual signifiers of femininity into a single, extremely minimalist composition.
The rounded, symmetrical shapes of the zebra’s body inevitably evoke the female silhouette. The tail, hanging down the center, looks almost like a long ponytail. This creates a fascinating interplay between animal and human - and, for a moment, a simple animal photograph transforms into an embodiment of female physicality.

Pure Weiblichkeit
Man könnte fast sagen, das Foto liegt genau an der Grenze zwischen:
„Ich sehe ein Zebra.“
und
„Ich sehe eine menschliche weibliche Körperform.“
Das Bild lässt meiner Meinung nach beide Lesarten zu.
Das erklärt auch, warum der Begriff „pure Weiblichkeit“ interessant ist: Nicht weil das Bild objektiv Weiblichkeit zeigt, sondern weil es für mich einige der visuellen Stellvertreter für Weiblichkeit in einer einzigen, extrem reduzierten Komposition bündelt.
Die runden, symmetrischen Formen des Zebrakörpers erinnern unweigerlich an die weibliche Silhouette. Der mittig fallende Schweif wirkt dabei fast wie ein langer Pferdeschwanz. So entsteht ein faszinierendes Spiel zwischen Tier und Mensch – und aus einer reinen Tieraufnahme wird für mich einen Moment das Sinnbild weiblicher Körperlichkeit.
As I walked down the road, this rose stood out like a sore thumb, just so gorgeous.
