US 11 splits into two One-Way streets in downtown Lexington. Way off in the distance you can see the buildings on the campus of the Virginia Military Institute (VMI).

From the roll of hilariously over-exposed film I shot during Photosoc's trip to Bath, March 2007.
A cropped shot taken by the gate to the Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C. This was obviously my first shot on the roll, and I thought the exposure to the left of the frame was really interesting...
This is the scene of the first half of the roll. You can see my truck parked directly under the sign, about a block away. It's in a good spot, as it's out of the time restriction zone of downtown.
I saw this sign and thought, "Well, I just have to get a shot of that." Of course, cemetaries present a lot of good subjects for testing the performance of a camera. BTW, that blur line you see running through the photo center from top to bottom is a scanner fault. Good thing it only happened on this frame, as the lab is closed till Monday, and I hate having to wait a long time to get something redone.
Looks like the focus is good on this. I do better estimating in feet than I do in meters.
