This guide will teach you what to look for on food labels, enabling you to make smarter, low-carb choices without falling for marketing tricks.
The keto diet is a high-fat, moderate-protein, and low-carbohydrate eating plan designed to shift your body into a state of ketosis. To maintain ketosis, you typically need to consume fewer than 20 to 50 grams of net carbohydrates per day.

I saw this hoverfly laying an egg ( unfortunately not on a picture ) and everytime drinking from this foam. I think it will give him the energy it needs for the eggs.
Sally, I promised to show y’all how that wire sphere is used in a mixer container. Next you put in the powder and the liquid, screw on the top and shake.

This week's Twitter Photo Challenge is "animals". I've been playing carpenter a couple of days and haven't had time to fool around with the camera. I also go on vacation in a couple of days, so I guess this will be my last entry to #TwPhCh for a few weeks.
This picture is rather self explanatory I guess, so I skip straight to the technicalities.
Tech blurb
ISO 1000, aperture priority f/14, exposure compensation EV -1. Camera on tripod, using my Tamron 70-300mm lens. That lens has a magnification ratio of 1:2 to begin with, but I also used a 25mm extension tube to get even closer than usual.
I chose ISO 1000 here to ensure a fast enough shutter speed. I've never photographed snails before, but when you do you'll be surprised at how fast they move. Especially the antennas or eyes or whatever it is they have on their head.
Had I chosen to eat this strawberry, I think I'd get a protein and antioxidant rich meal :-)
The spherical spores produced by the fungus Emericella nidulans are coated in a thin layer of the protein hydrophobin. Hydrophobin ensures that water rolls off the spores. Other fungi, such as mushrooms, also have a layer of hydrophobin on their caps. BASF researchers have succeeded in transferring the gene responsible for hydrophobin production to Escherichia coli bacteria.
