I used it to build 3 Protectors (you'll see them soon) ^^

Guardian Dog and His Sheep. I think this is a Akbash or a Kuvasz.

The story behind The Protector

By Milani Photography

As with every shoot, I have a vision going into it of how I see the story unfolding in front of the camera. This shoot was no different, with a story of a water nymph and his journey.... but as I started setting up the shot, the image I had in my head began to change as I was reminded of a story I used to read to my boys when they were younger. The book "I'll Love You Forever" follows the relationship between a boy and his mother where as time passes, the roles change from that of be mother as protector, to the boy becoming a man and protecting his mother. The ending of this story never failed to bring me to tears, as I was so moved and affected by the immensity of that love and the bond between mother and child. That is the emotion and story I was hoping to convey with this picture. That of the protector and that unique relationship.

A little insight into how I shot this. The set up was in my back yard in a 6x10 kiddie pool. It was backlit with a black v-flat behind us for a backdrop, but low enough to let enough light in. I placed branches in the milky water to give a swampy feel. Jake let me paint his face to give an animalistic look. For my shot I put the camera on a tripod with a ten second timer and ran to get the shot. I then made a composite of Mother and son together. I used Lr5, Ps, for the composite, and Exposure, from Alien Skin.

Thank you for taking the time. Have a blessed day!

Half of these are way too asymmetrical. ;-;

I really like the samurai aesthetics on Tahu, so I tried my hand at it on a protector-sized MOC.

Combiner of the six Protector sets. Skull Spiders not included.

Azrael -> Batman -> Batgirl (Stephanie Brown) -> Catwoman

My current Gotham Knights team. Azrael still needs work, Batman is a combination of the ones from Catwoman chase and Batwing sets, Batgirl might need some changes, but is best I've got so far, and Catwoman is straight from the set.

He has a lemon Wedge on his back.

Art of a knight in shining armor. He does not rescue, he's a pro active protector. He will not let you do harm to anyone. He stands ready to kill us all to keep us from doing it to ourselves.

A whole lot of city renovation is happening in downtown Wenatchee. The track hoe is not there to tear down the old city jail, thankfully. I'd like to think it's protecting it!

HMS Protector is a Royal Navy ice patrol ship, seen here in Portsmouth Dockyard.

She was built in Norway in 2000 and bought by the British Ministry of Defence in 2013 and replaced the ice patrol Ship HMS Endurance.

More information on how she is used is here:

I always take a surge protector power strip with me on vacation. Not all hotel rooms have a sufficient number of outlets for the number of electronic devices that we all have to have with us now days.

The big strip is a surge protector for South Korea that I bought a few years back. They use 240 volts and this strip will convert the electricity to just about any type of electrical plug in the world. You can plug any device that uses 120 or 240 volts into it.

I just use one of my 120 volt power strips from America while I am in Japan. This one has a 3 point American plug and I need to use a 2 point non grounded converter in order to plug into the outlet in Japan. I believe they use 100 volt there.

I usually have a fan, iPad, phone, personal wifi hotspot, camera battery charger, and maybe something else plugged in every day after I get back to the hotel. I try to put the power strip back into my suitcase during the day so that I don't alarm the cleaning staff!

he will be a bit taller with his feet and he needs ears but here's a rough idea of how he'll look next to Tiena
