Boat Prop shot taken in Manistee

Look what I found! Civilized rabbits that wear pants. The boxes the came in said their names are Carrots and Hobber, but I'm going to give them different names. I'm overly excited about these, but March is still my main Hare.

Today I went to Michaels craft store and bought a white plastic mask and

some paint to make a prop to use in a photoshoot for a book cover

illustration on false religions.

I'm planning on taking a photo of the mask in tact and then we will begin to

break it up and take photos of it in increasing states of brokeness. That

way we should have a variety of visual options.

I couldn't resist putting the mask on and taking a photo. It's a bit creepy

but seeing eyes in the slots definite adds another dimension.

On Nov 4, California was a major factor behind Obama taking office, yet the same state narrowly passed Proposition 8, which bans gay marriage.... Clearly wrong on so many levels, let alone the fact that it should not be something up for a vote. Nov 7th, the people of San Francisco took to the streets to show their disgust and raise awareness. The march started near Civic Center and went to Dolores Park. I stayed at Market and 9th with a group who blocked Market Street for nearly 3 hours in an act of civil disobedience. The main group of marchers came back from Dolores, the entire mass went to the steps of city hall, and then ended up in the heart of The Castro.

Random Prop Week Day 6

An Ethiopian coffee pot, bought from the local market. Ethiopia has wonderful coffee - some say it is the home of coffee - can't rememeber if this is true or a rumour I just made up - it certainly is an interesting country. The spiritual home of Reggae, it has it's own time and date (different from the rest of the world). Great place.
