Capital Dock is one of the largest mixed-use developments ever built in Ireland and it was completed towards the end of 2018 but I was unable to gain access to the completed project until Easter weekend 2019. Global investment bank JP Morgan and jobs site Indeed have committed to occupy all of the available office space, and are preparing their new premises for occupancy in 2019.
Nearly 200 family units will be available to rent this year, with a dedicated on-site concierge, resident lounges, cinema, professional gym, business suites and a chef’s kitchen. There is also be a landscaped park and square open to the public.

Something was missing when I got to work today. The sunset tree is gone ...
The fight against the new Swanbourne Park housing estate has really become personal now. The developers are robbing me of my job as of July ... they're destroying the village and community ... and now they've killed that beautiful tree.
The tree was on the very edge of the development site ... on the north edge at that, so it wasn't taking the sunlight away. They could have incorporated in to the plans ... it didn't need to die.

This is number 2 in the series. This burned out mill is on property owned by Tesco, purveyors of quality meats. It has been an eyesore in this part of the town for a few years and is clearly visible from the Silk Road and the Middlewood Way. Tesco had plans to develop this site as a superstore. When the plans were launched Tesco claimed it had the interests of the town at heart but this is how they thumb their noses at us. Tesco is a major landowner in towns all over the country, holding derelict brownfield sites it hopes to use as stores and also land on which there are commercial premises for which Tesco then sets the rents. I would like to see the Macclesfield Express publish a list of Cheshire East Councillors and permanent employees of the planning department together with any ownership they may have of shares in supermarkets, property development companies and house builders to reassure the voters of the fairness of planning decisions.;

This is the robin that used to visit me by the till to feed on the bird seed there, without any fear ... and he would follow me around the entrance tunnel hoping for worms. Sometimes it seemed like all he wanted was some company. I can tell by the mark on his wing, and by his attitude ... each of the resident robins had some unique feature.
This is the only robin I saw up there today.
