A odd museum situated along the Látrabjarg route. The museum had old fishing boat and planes, Here is some glimpses of the Douglas C-117D (my guess) exhibit. I didn't see the rest as the museum was closed.
Látrabjarg, is a promontory and the westernmost point in Iceland. The cliffs are home to millions of birds, including puffins, northern gannets, guillemots and razorbills. It is vital for their survival as it hosts up to 40% of the world population for some species e.g. the Razorbill. It is Europe's largest bird cliff, 14km long and up to 440m high.*

If it's possible, I'd like to have Japanese Maple Tree in my garden.
So I picked them up and brought home.
I try to grow them.... pray for appearing of new life.
A view across to the propeller rig from the testing platform at the low speed 24' wind tunnel in the Q121 building. Farnborough RAE.
Pentax 645Z.
Looking out the airplane window as we taxied down the runway, the rotation of the propeller was invisible. Yet, the iPhone in panorama mode was triggered by the prop and captured a wonderfully elongated engine.

Propeller from a 1:72 scale model of a Lancaster bomber I built a couple of years ago. Taken for Macro Mondays "Begins With The Letter P" theme. I suppose I could also say Plane! Two "P's" for the price of one!! I'm just too generous for my own good sometimes!! ;-)

The propeller and rudder of the beached fishing vessel Serenity V as seen in the previous upload.
