I didn't know what to take a picture of for this prompt. So I took a picture of the fitness and health related magazines that I read. That's right...read. I don't do anything in them. But, I believe scratching Salem's neck in the morning, and all the love she and my other dog Lucy give me make my heart at ease, and have added to my overall health. However, I know its not enough.

Photo Name: Door 16 I took this photo outside of my son’s school when I was picking him up in the evening. For this photo I wanted to do a simple touch up but also add something special to it aswell. I turned blur up but only on the bottom of the photo on the sidewalk. I also wanted those trees to be more significant. I turned the contrast up and the highlights down a touch. I didn’t really mess with any of the colors because I liked them the way they were. I also turned the texture and clarity way up

This is a water fountain in a shopping street in the centre of Rotterdam. It releases water on intervals. Children love to play with it. And I love to see the fun when they get caught in the water.

This prompt was a bit difficult with my dog since he is almost 2 and doesn’t like to sit still. But I played with different levels of aperture on portrait mode on my iPhone 13 Pro and got some cute pictures of him.
I am participating in Folded Word's writing month event, called "24/7," during August. Participants spend the first 24 days of the month writing short works, then spend the final week in revisions. The second part of this entry gives more details.
I'm not required to give a central theme to the entries, but I chose the theme "Divinations" and am using a pair of dice to generate prompts. My prompt for August 15 is to write a divination-themed prose poem that uses water. You can read the piece here.
