Industrial scenes are very suitable for Black & White. These cranes are famous in Rotterdam. (Taken with my iPhone and Hipstamatic).
My fascination with sculpture prompted this shot. Sadly I have no idea who the statues are meant to represent. Maybe I need to do some research on that topic.

On Lefkas I found these giants of Bougainville. They were almost trees. Early in the morning I sneaked out to photograph the Bougainville of our landlady.

Our kitchen is a beautiful and cosy place where we spend a lot of hours. It is very very dark though. To bring some color into it I bought some bright and colorful dishtowels earlier this year. The colors and patterns reminded me of flowers and I got the urge to do something creative. I created the ‘Artificial Flower Collection’.

Holly got me some photo idea cards with prompts to inspire some different photos and today was the first time I used one. The one I picked was "a knife" and I figured it might as well be cutting something and went with an apple. This isn't a photo I ever would've taken without a prompt but it was fun to try something new and I look forward to using other cards later for more ideas. Or even reusing this one as there are other things to do with a knife.
Two cameras failed on me. Not one, but two. They worked at UNC, not in Chile. I even thought to send a back-up camera, but nooooooo....
