I had so much prep to do for upcoming workshops that I thought I would do some of that for today's layout, this layout is designed by Sonya Edwards , an I have to teach it next week , so I made the sample up, I leave the photos off till after I have taught it but will have photos from a beach trip, hope it still counts as a layout for the day

had once run on the RHTT diagrams in South Yorkshire, the last one on a regular basis, being in 2010. I have no pictures of the locos which ran in the years before that as at that time, I was living in Australia and had been since 2002. So I thought it worthwhile to pick the best of the shots from the only month they were recorded, November 2010. As mentioned above, the following years saw D.R.S. take over the workings and there was, during that time, the odd occurrence where 'green' and 'orange' liveried traction took over the workings for a short time...
The text and tags for these 26 images is as it was in 2010, with in the main brief text narrative and and a short list of tags. I see from this that no indication of the real working numbers, '3Sxx', was give nor was there any information about the origin or destination of the workings... This was of course before the days of 'Freightlocate', 'Real-Time Trains' and RailCam' usage, the latter two not coming to the fore until the years after these pictures were taken. As I recall, the expensive 'FreightMaster', in hard copy, was available and the next on offer was the very useful 'Freightlocate', a subscription service which was available on 'Smartphones' and PC Web Browsers and which illegally, it was said, issued the headcodes for all the workings and I did use this 'app' for a few years. However, the working numbers finally became available legitimately on the free, 'R.T.T.' a few years ago and that put-paid to the use of 'Freightlocate', for me anyway...

Finally the train sets off along the GCR to pass through all that's left of Sheffield Victoria and on to Deepcar. I got a cheery wave from the driver of 0Z20 as it passed under Woodbourn Road bridge. He must have thought I was barmy as he had already seen me 4 times today - in various locales, taking what I hope are interesting shots...

Day 11 - Water // So today I was supposed to do a prompt on water. Seeing as I live in the desert and don't have the time to go to a water park today, I thought that taking a picture of drinking water would be fine. I can't stand tap water, so I buy jugs. Bottles are just too pricey. I know this is total off-brand and most people won't do that, but water is water. Tap just has a bad taste to it.
I wrote about my favorite movies that remind me of summer. I'm not really a fan of how this one turned out...I may give this prompt another try!

Although I don't use green a lot, today's email prompted me to go through my green papers - I sort and store by color, so it was easy to find papers and embellishments for this LO. I like this combination with the photos of my son cutting the grass with his lawnmower (taken last spring).
Sorry for the poor photo...I never seem to be able to get the journaling readable!
The title is "Keeping it GREEN" and the journalins reads "You are such a great little helper around the house and yard! you want to be where the action is and do everything just like mom & dad. But in a couple of years you'll be mowing the lawn for real! Love mom!"

Fred Smith (b. 1987) is a human navigating their day to day existence through the act of making drawings, paintings, and sculptural objects. Their work is developed with a sense of subversive irony, exploring societal norms and situations that seem off or odd.
By bending physicality and destabilizing reality, Fred Smith’s uncanny creations prompt us to ask complex questions about our surroundings and our imagination. The Mint Museum is the largest visual arts institution in Charlotte and holds the largest public collection of Charlotte-born artist Romare Bearden's work.
The American Art collection comprises approximately 900 works created between the late 1700s and circa 1945. It includes portraiture of the Federal era, 19th century landscapes, and paintings from the group known as "The Eight" (Robert Henri, George Luks, William Glackens, John Sloan, Everett Shinn, Maurice Prendergast, Ernest Lawson, and Arthur Bowen Davies).
