Well known Irish photographer Johnny Morris shot this iconic image of Phil Lynott at his Dublin studio in the autumn of 1972.
What was originally to be sold as a poster outside a Lizzy gig was mobbed and lost to the crowd exiting the National Stadium the following year. All 200 copies were lost! The negative has since lay dormant in Johnny’s private collection, only now to be revived as a limited edition fine art print.
The 20”x30” giclee print, framed, stamped and signed by the artist will be available from Gallery Number One from Monday the 21st January 2008. The edition will be limited to 100 copies.
