The Fiat Ducato is a commercial van developed by Fiat and PSA (Peugot and Citroen). Introduced in 1981, the Ducato has been very successful, with over 2.6 million sold. Because it is the product of a joint venture, the Ducato comes in multiple forms. Citroen sells the Ducato as the Jumper and Peugot calls their version the Boxer.
When the American Chrysler Group became a part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the door was open for some of Fiat's European products to make their way to North America. The Ducato is one of the most recent beneficiaries of this union.
For years, Dodge had relied on a rebadged Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as its main commercial van offering, replacing the old outdated Ram Van in 2003. That deal was a product of Chrysler's older relationship with Daimler. With that relationship over and Chrysler now in Fiat's corner, the Dodge Sprinter was no more and the Fiat Ducato (to be sold under Chrysler's Ram brand as the ProMaster) took its place. Ram isn't done importing some of Fiat's European commercial machines to build its own North American lineup: the Ram ProMaster City (a rebadged Fiat Doblo) debuted this year.

Although the building is old, I rather like the Morrison building at MCAD. It has a sort of aesthetic to it that i really like. Its probably the really beaten up wood floor, but I walk past this spot a few times a week and its not a bad spot to stand and ponder.

This ambulance is owned by the Province of New Brunswick. When the photo was taken in Sussex NB, the paramedics were treating a gentleman who had tripped and fallen, striking his head. They then took him to hospital.
Ram Promaster Ambulances were designed by, and are built by, Malley Industries Inc. of Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada. The user-friendly design was developed with the input of a large number of paramedics.
Design features include having the correct equipment located where paramedics can reach it readily to treat patients while on the move. Safety of the paramedics is a high priority. The ambulance has a very low floor, making loading stretchers with patients easier and reducing the risk of injuries to paramedics. Headroom is excellent. The vehicle can carry a bariatric stretcher.
Malley Industries has been building this model since 2015. They have sold them to ambulance operators in several parts of Canada and the United States.

Ok, so let this be a lesson for you all, as it is to me. I went out to Killcreek Park, about a 30 minute drive from where I live, toting along my Nikon D-50 digital camera. Um, one thing I forgot to consider: my battery. It was dead. Completely dead. Fortunately, I had the old standbye in the car, my Nikon FM-10 with one roll (that's all I had) of 400 Kodak film in it. Oh! And the only lens I had for it was my $99 ProMaster 70-200mm lens, which I barely know how to use. I didn't have the original Nikon lens with me. But at least I was able to get some photos onto paper as they say.
