I had the movers take all the furniture into the house and take the bed and chest of drawers upstairs.

As they are paid by the hour I had them leave all the boxes in my car port for me to take in. They kept saying "for a single woman, you've got a lot of stuff ma'am!"

Project 366-1 (2010) February 4, 2010 35/365

KirstenW has posted some "tasty crochet" photos recently. Reminded me of this potholder made my my dear late Aunt Minnie. She was mostly known for her knitting. She could knit while reading. And she took great pride in copying very expensive sweaters that she saw in swanky shops.

AL RAS Dubai Creek, ferry crossing and various views

Since this was a home-based project (meaning no studio, no professional lighting, no professional staging, and with minimal budget), we had to find household stuff to create the appropriate lighting.

front of the larger pinafore. And also the carpet is beige not red, but the green color is about right at least.

This week I give a more loose interpretation of the suggested theme. Though perhaps not off the mark at all. After all flowers should be given with an open heart.

Thank you hubby!

The people at Impossible Project held a open house and I was invited to join the tour of the factory. The place once employed 1200 people at the hight of the Polaroid days. Now just 36 people are the Impossible Project. All of them passionate, dedicated and giving their all to keep us Polaroid camera users happy with film. Daunting task and after the visit I have nothing but respect for people achieving the impossible.

This is one a couple more blocks I made a while back for Jacquie's "Project Improv." She needed a few more and I volunteered to help. Now I just need to take time to make my own improv quilt. I really have been enjoying putting the different fabrics and blocks together without a pattern.
